Core Technical Capabilities

Six capabilities that keep our valves compliant, verifiable and fit for demanding service.

⚖️

Standards-based Design & Selection

Structure and selection are confirmed against your actual service — medium, pressure class, temperature and end connection — on API 6D/600/609 and ASME B16.34 design bases.

🌬️

Material & Sealing Selection

WCB, WC6/WC9, CF8/CF8M, duplex 2205/2507 and low-temperature LCB/LCC bodies, matched with PTFE/RPTFE/PEEK soft seats or 13Cr and Stellite metal hard seats (Trim 1/5/8).

⚡

Pressure Class Coverage Class 150–2500

Ball, gate, globe, butterfly, check, plug, control and safety valves plus actuators and accessories, covering Class 150 through Class 2500.

🎛️

Inspection & Documentation Driven

EN 10204 3.1/3.2 material certificates, per-unit pressure test reports and an ITP with witness points ship with the goods so compliance review can proceed directly.

🔍

Certification Compliance

ISO 9001, CE/PED 2014/68/EU, API Monogram and ISO 15848 low-emission (fugitive emission) conformity for international oil, gas and process projects.

🧩

Custom & Drawing-based Manufacturing

Non-standard designs and manufacturing to customer drawings, supporting OEM and small-to-mid batch orders with a typical lead time of 4–10 weeks.

Manufacturing & Inspection Process

Eight controlled stages from design selection to packing and shipment.

1

Design & Selection Confirmation

Structure design and selection are completed against the actual service — medium, pressure class, temperature and connection standard — with API 6D and ASME B16.34 as design bases.

2

Casting & Forging of Rough Parts

Bodies and bonnets are cast (WCB/CF8/CF8M) or forged, with the chemical composition and mechanical properties of rough parts controlled to ASTM material standards.

3

CNC Machining

Bodies, seats, balls/gates/discs and stems are CNC machined with controlled fitting tolerances and sealing-face accuracy.

4

Welding & Overlay

Sealing faces are overlaid with 13Cr (Trim 1) or Stellite 6 (Trim 5) hardfacing to suit the service; pressure-containing welds are inspected by NDT to standard.

5

Assembly & Adjustment

Sealing elements, packing, actuators and accessories are assembled, with operating torque and travel set to standard.

6

Pressure Testing

Every valve undergoes shell strength testing (1.5× rated) and seat sealing tests (low- and high-pressure), with 100% pressure testing before shipment.

7

Inspection & Documentation Issue

EN 10204 3.1/3.2 material certificates, pressure test reports and the ITP inspection and test plan are issued; third-party witness by SGS/BV/TÜV can be arranged per project.

8

Coating, Packing & Shipment

Surface preparation, anti-corrosion coating, export packing to transport requirements, and shipping documents and marks with the goods.

Quality & Documentation Systems

Inspection, testing and traceability documentation covering every valve we ship.

ITP

Quality Inspection & Testing System (ITP)

Inspection and testing controls that follow a valve from incoming material verification to pre-shipment release, with every step documented and archived.

  • Incoming material re-verification
  • Shell strength and seat sealing tests
  • EN 10204 3.1/3.2 material certificates
  • Third-party witness (SGS / BV / TÜV)
  • Full final inspection and record archiving before shipment
DOC

Technical Documentation & Traceability System

The document set that travels with every valve, making its material, test and certification records verifiable after delivery.

  • Per-unit serial number and nameplate traceability
  • Pressure test and inspection reports shipped with the goods
  • Material and conformity certificate packages
  • Project-specific ITP with witness points
  • Remote technical and after-sales documentation support

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers about valve technology, standards and documentation.

Should a ball valve be full bore or reduced bore?
A full bore valve matches the ball bore to the pipeline ID, giving near-zero pressure loss, pigging capability and passage for inline inspection tools, but it is larger, more expensive and needs higher operating torque. A reduced bore valve steps down one size, reducing weight, cost and torque, but introduces pressure loss and prevents pigging. Valve stations on long-distance pipelines, pig launching/receiving and pigging stations must use full bore (also a common API 6D pipeline valve requirement); reduced bore is acceptable for general isolation where space and budget are constrained. When both are mixed in one system, calculate the pressure loss and flow velocity at the reduced-bore section.
Should a butterfly valve use a soft seat or a metal seat?
Decide by temperature, medium and fire-safety requirements. For clean media, temperatures ≤200℃ and zero-leakage duty (ISO 5208 Rate A), choose a soft seat (EPDM/PTFE/PEEK): cost-effective and suitable for water treatment, HVAC and general chemical service. For temperatures >200℃, abrasive particle-laden media, fire-risk areas or long service life, choose a triple-offset metal seat: the leakage class is typically Rate C/D, but the metal secondary seal provides inherent fire-safe behaviour (API 607). Provide the medium, temperature and required leakage class, and we will give a specific recommendation.
How should materials be selected for H₂S sour oil & gas service?
Select materials per NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156. Carbon and low-alloy steels require controlled hardness and heat treatment; stems and trim are typically sour-service stainless steel or duplex. Bolting should be A193 B7M / A194 2HM (not standard B7/2H). Materials must undergo hardness testing and batch material verification (PMI), and NACE-compliant material certificates must be requested with the shipment. Specific steel grades and maximum hardness must be assessed against H₂S partial pressure, pH and temperature; we can provide a sour-service material selection proposal based on the operating conditions.
For threaded connections, should I choose NPT or BSP?
NPT (US tapered pipe thread, 60° thread angle) and BSP (British pipe thread, 55°, including BSPT tapered and BSPP parallel threads) differ in thread angle and pitch and are not interchangeable. North American projects commonly use NPT; European and Commonwealth markets use BSP. Choosing the wrong one leads to field assembly failure or leakage. State the thread standard in the RFQ and specify the sealing method: tapered threads seal on the thread itself, while parallel threads require a gasket or sealing face.
For flanged connections, should I use RF or RTJ?
Choose by pressure class and medium hazard. RF (raised face) with spiral-wound gaskets suits Class 150/300 and general service; RTJ (ring joint) uses a metal ring gasket for hard sealing and suits Class 900 and above, high pressure and high temperature and flammable or explosive media, with higher reliability. Flange standards follow ASME B16.5/B16.47 or EN 1092-1. RF and RTJ are different sealing-face forms and must not be mixed or interchanged.
What is the difference between DBB and DIB?
DBB (double block and bleed) means the valve has two independently sealing seats with a bleedable cavity, used where the cavity must be drained or sampled. DIB (double isolation and bleed) is more stringent, with two independent isolation functions, available in bidirectional (DIB-1) and unidirectional (DIB-2) versions. Both share the same bleed function; the difference lies in the independence of isolation and the sealing direction. DIB is used for strict isolation of high-pressure or hazardous media.
